Khan said that authority was exercised elsewhere when he was in charge.
Khan made the remarks while speaking to journalists in Lahore. The chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) declared that if he could have exercised half of his powers as prime minister, he would have presided over a reign comparable to that of famed emperor Sher Shah Suri.
Khan stated that while he bore sole accountability during his tenure, power was wielded by others.
Khan questioned why Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto was going from pillar to post. This would be for naught, he replied.
He stated that when his administration apprehended billionaire tax evaders, they would approach others and change the rules.
